AUTUMN SALE
A dog is wise enough to stop, to listen, to wonder, to meditate on it all. The small moment in a big forest presents mysteries to us humans: Is the dog watching his own home? Whose house is there on the edge of the trees? What else is in the forest. For the dog, though, there may well be a completely different set of things to discover. My hope is that this oil painting will ask new questions for the viewer each day and with each viewing.
