It doesn’t take much of a clearing for us to find our place.
No matter how thick the fog and mist, there is solid ground beneath. In these days when so much is in turmoil and many experience that fog as the fog of war, it is more important than ever to remember that the ground will be there, and we can help each other to find it. Art is one way to describe where we are, and this piece is one attempt at that. My hope as an artist is that one day, soon, this painting can return to its original intent - offering a peaceful and safe ground in a beautiful morning mist.
