This large abstract is a commission piece just delivered to a special, thoughtful and loving couple. We talked a great deal about what is important to them and then they left the rest to me. It was an honor to try to capture the basics of their lives--dancing, faith, their journey together, joy, the celebration of life and its many mysteries. As I do more and more commissioned pieces, I understand even more deeply how much a narrative personalized work of art can mean.
